Foot Patrol

Foot Patrol

Foot Patrol is a volunteer operated safe-walk program, available Monday-Friday from 7pm-1am.

Foot Patrol Brantford is closed for the summer, effective April 17th at 12:30 a.m.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Foot Patrol now runs virtually through Laurier’s SAFEHawk app.

You can request a walk within 2km of campus and share your location from your phone in real time as a volunteer on shift will monitor your path to make sure you safely reach your chosen destination. In case of an emergency, you can connect directly with Special Constable Services within the app, or a volunteer may give you a call to check in.

Whether you’re headed home from a long day of studying on campus, or going out to grab a late-night snack, feel safe knowing that Foot Patrol has got your back.

Download the SAFEHawk App and follow @wlu_footpatrol_w and @lbfootpatrol for more information.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic the Foot patrol drive home services WILL BE CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
