what is food bank’s parcel service?

Food Bank provides a complimentary parcel service for all Undergraduate students to support their dietary and nutritional needs. All dietary restrictions can be accommodated and food packages typically last up to a week or more. There is no financial need required for this service but it is limited to 3 parcels/term (Waterloo) or 5 parcels/terms (Brantford).

 

how can i get a parcel?

To request a parcel head to yourstudentsunion.ca/service/food-bank and fill out a request form for your campus. You will get an email within 3 business days with instructions on how to pick up your parcel on campus.

Waterloo pickup location is in the 24 Lounge (2nd floor FNCC) either by the elevator or by the glassed in study rooms. Brantford pickup location has now moved to the lower level of the Students’ Union building, in the hallway by the Multi-Purpose Room

Before you visit campus, please complete the COVID-19 Self-Assessment Form on Laurier’s SafeHawk App to earn your daily COVID-19 Badge permitting you to campus. Please do not pick up your parcel, instead email suvpssw@wlu.ca, if you have traveled outside of Canada within the last 14 days, are experiencing symptoms, or may have been recently exposed.

When you arrive, please sanitize your hands before and after going to your locker to collect your parcel. The lockers will be cleaned regularly and volunteers will be following strict safety procedures, for your protection.
