We're Hiring Our Associate Vice President Team for the 2025-2026 Academic Year!

ABOUT US: The Students' Union represents all undergraduates students at Wilfrid Laurier University. We are a separate entity from the institution itself and therefore we operate independently from the University. We are a Not-For-Profit Organization which provides opportunities to students so they can take their university experience outside of the classroom. Our team is led by an undergraduate student President and Board of Directors who are elected annually by the undergraduate student body. We are passionate about the student experience, and always looking for ways to improve our members' post-secondary journey.


SUMMARY: Reporting to the Vice President within your department, you will be focused on executing an Annual Plan which provides and enhances a comprehensive experience for the undergraduate students at Laurier. To be successful in this role you will need to have high attention to detail, adequate written and verbal communication, time management and organizational skills, as well as be capable of problem-solving from a lens of diversity and equitability.

POSITION LEVEL: Part-time, contract (11 - months - please refer to individual job descriptions for more information)

PAY RANGE: $18.20 per hour

EDUCATION: Registered in an undergraduate program at WLU for the duration of the contract
