Your 2024/25 Students’ Union President
Laurier Board of Governors By-Election
There is currently one opportunity on the Wilfrid Laurier University Board of Governors for an undergraduate student, for a term ending June 30, 2025.
The Board of Governors has control over the University's property and revenues and the conduct of its business and affairs, except with respect to matters that the Wilfrid Laurier University Act stipulates are jurisdiction of the Senate. The Board of Governors appoints the President and Vice-Chancellor, approves the annual budget, plans and develops the physical resources of the university, establishes and collections tuition and other fees, oversees the future strategic direction of the institution, approves university-wide policies, and invests funds held by the university endowment, pension plan and other funds.

Students’ Union Food Bank is available to all undergraduate students.
The Food Bank aims to help undergraduate students dealing with food insecurity. Food insecurity refers to the inability to acquire or consume a balanced diet that is of adequate quality and quantity. This can oftentimes create challenges sustaining one’s wellbeing: physically, mentally, and academically.
This service offers a completely free parcel service that operates throughout the full calendar year, providing 5 parcels per term that accommodate most dietary restrictions and typically last a week or more.
