While you do not need to register for Orientation Week, there are a few things we ask you to do in advance to take part in some of our events! Check out the list below:
We Got Game: Fortnight 0-Week Esports Challenge: Thursday, September 3rd 8 pm – 10 pm
(Must have a console and game; participants will be grouped in 8 or 16 and compete against other schools; each round of games are estimated at 1 hour of gameplay)

Macramé: Thursday, September 3rd 8 pm – 10 pm
Learn how to make a Macramé Plant hanger from start to finish. *Please note, during the Macramé event, there will be a live chat feature; the recorded video will be available after this date*
If you are looking to purchase your own materials you need at least 40 feet of cotton rope (3 strand cotton rope is preferred but any cotton rope will work (single strand, braided, etc.) It just needs to be about 5mm in thickness. They will also need a hoop of some sort, a gold hoop or wood hoop.

Bob Ross Paint Night: Thursday, September 3rd 8 pm -10 pm
In this session, Dr. Justine Shuey will guide us through the step-by-step painting of an abstract rainbow tree. This is a very flexible painting design in which you can use a variety of colors and techniques to create a unique masterpiece. You will need:
- Rainbow color paints + brown/black/white (acrylic works best)
- assorted paint brushes
- canvas or mixed media paper.
