Letter from the President – April 3, 2020

Dear Undergraduate Students,

As we move into final exam season, the Students’ Union would like to wish you all the best on your exams.

We also understand that the summer months are approaching and that COVID-19 has caused a loss of income to many students. The federal government has provided an Emergency Response Benefit to provide temporary income support to those who qualify which can be accessed here.

Dr. Jennifer Robson at Carleton University has also created a document that compiles a list of various programs that you may qualify for. This website has been adapted from information compiled and published freely by Dr. Jennifer Robson, Associate Professor of Political Management at Carleton University. You can read the original document here

Dr. Robson is not affiliated with this website or its publishers. Any errors or omissions in adapting Dr. Robson’s are the sole responsibility of the Wilfrid Laurier Students’ Union.

For ongoing updates from the university, please visit Laurier’s novel coronavirus website and any questions, comments, or concerns you have to coronavirusquestions@wlu.ca.

Please let us know if you have any questions moving into the exam period and as always, continue to engage with the Students’ Union as we continue to provide student support and programming remotely.

Take care – we are all in this together,
