To all Undergraduate Students,
To continue our efforts in improving our service offerings that we provide our membership, we are making changes to our executive structure, specifically pertaining to our Programming & Services department on the Waterloo campus.
Effective May 1st, 2020, the Vice President: Programming & Services Waterloo role will no longer exist in its current capacity. Instead, the role will be changed to the title of Vice President: Student Services Waterloo.
The Vice President: Student Services Waterloo will over see the former Programming & Services Waterloo portfolio, with a greater focus on the services we provide our members. They will directly oversee the following committees: EcoHawks, Peer Connect, Foot Patrol, Food Bank, and the Emergency Response Team.
Reporting to the Vice President: Student Services Waterloo will be the Associate Vice President: Programming Waterloo. The Associate Vice President: Programming Waterloo will oversee the programming committees within the portfolio for the entirety 2020/2021 term. They will be responsible for ensuring our transition of First Year students is as fluid and continuous as possible.
Additionally, they will provide greater focus and expertise to the diverse programming we offer our members. The Associate Vice President: Programming Waterloo will directly oversee the Activities Team, First Year Project, Orientation Week and Shinerama. Due to their full-time focus on Orientation Week delivery during the summer, the position of Orientation Program Facilitator on the Waterloo campus will cease to exist.
The Students’ Union team is excited to announce these changes with the goal of enhancement to student life and for effective organization performance. If you have any questions regarding this, do not hesitate to directly contact me at: email@example.com
