The time-honoured tradition of Laurier’s Orientation Week is one of the most memorable and impactful experiences first year students will experience. The Students’ Union Vice Presidents of Services & Programming (Kim and Carina) and the O-Week team are putting the final touches on what will be an amazing adventure.
The details of O-Week are available at LaurierOrientation.com, our website dedicated to all things for first year fun! There are tips for first years and new Laurier parents, O-Week updates and announcements, and special contests specifically for first year students. Here’s what you don’t want to miss:
REGISTER FOR O-WEEK
Your O-Week is jam-packed with events, activities and sessions that are geared to first years getting to know the campus and their future best friends. The only way into the O-Week activities is to purchase your tickets at LaurierOrientation.com (here’s the step-by-step process on registering). The tickets to O-Week give you access to all O-Week events (Waterloo students, you need to purchase a separate ticket for the concert), which you don’t want to miss!
#LAURIEROWEEK16 THEME VIDEO
Each year, the tradition of O-Week teams gives first years the chance to compete for the glory of being the winning team! Check out the Theme Video to see the team colours and characters. Closer to September, we will announce the characters and the teams – stay tuned to see which team you will join!
Whether you’re a student at the Waterloo or Brantford campus, we’ve got fun for you! Your first week as a Golden Hawk is going to be a busy one, including going to your classes, but we give you plenty of time to do stuff on your own as well.
