To all our friends at the Waterloo and Brantford campuses, we’d like to congratulate everyone on surviving the fall semester of school, and to wish you all good luck on your exams before heading off to enjoy the holidays! It can be a really stressful time for students, so here some excellent opportunities around campus to relieve stress, whether you’re helping prepare yourself for exams, or taking some time to enjoy yourself!
Peer Connect Board Game Night (Waterloo)
The semester may be over, but that doesn’t mean Peer Connect is stopping their weekly board game nights. Every Thursday until the 13th from 8-11pm, come to the concourse and relieve some stress with a board game or two with your friends!
Holiday Market (Waterloo)
You’ve probably already noticed it this week, but the Holiday Market is here from December 3-7th! From 11am-5:30pm, check out some of the talents of members and friends of the Laurier community in the Robert Langen Art Gallery!
Pancake Breakfast (Brantford)
On Friday, December 7th from 9-11am, the Dean of Students Office will be providing students with a pancake breakfast in the RCW Lobby, to celebrate the end of the semester and to wish you all good luck on your exams! Help yourself to a delicious breakfast before the exam period starts!
Keep Calm & Study On! (Brantford)
For the third year in a row, Keep Clam & Study On! will be available to students in the Carnegie Building on Thursday, December 6th from 10am – 6pm! Come over for stress busters, quiet spaces to work on your final papers, and mini workshops for exam prep strategies! There’ll be coffee, tea, snacks, and a hot lunch (starting at 11am). On top of that, there will be make and take self care bags (11:30am), math and stats support (1-4pm), and snacks from around the world (2:30pm)! It’s a jam-packed day, so don’t miss out!
