PROMOTIONS MANAGER (Multi-campus, based in Waterloo)

The Promotions Manager is instrumental in sharing the story of our students, and working to mitigate reputational risk to the organization. They ensure that the Students’ Union is accessible, and provides a voice for all students. Reporting to the Director, Marketing Communications, the Promotions Manager is focused on execution and maintenance of digital marketing content for the Students’ Union including, but not limited to, social media, event coverage and video editing. The incumbent must be highly motivated to work in a fast-paced environment, extremely well organized, detail oriented, have strong interpersonal skills and excellent time management skills.

SALARY: Starting at $40,000 per annum

POSITION LEVEL: Full-time, contract (3 years)

BENEFITS: Health and Dental, parking, phone stipend, vacation, time off on University observed holidays

REPORTS TO: Director, Marketing Communications

EDUCATION: Post-secondary degree/diploma or equivalent

TECHNICAL: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in social media tools, platforms (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Twitter, etc) and copywriting, as well as filming and video editing required
