How do i coordinate my benefits?

Students with plans through their parents or spouse can coordinate their benefits for increased coverage. To do this, submit first to Student VIP. Once you get your Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and your reimbursement, you can submit the EOB along with your receipts and claim form from your parents’ plan for further reimbursement. Students with plans through their employer must submit to the provider they have had the longest first, then submit to their other plan second.

 

My Opt-Out won’t go through, what can I do?

You can always email undergradhdp@wlu.ca for advice but we find these tips might help:

  • ensure you have registered for an account on www.studentvip.ca
  • ensure you are using your full @mylaurier.ca email address under personal information e.x. smit1234@mylaurier.ca
  • only use your first 8 characters in the MyLaurier Login section e.x. smit1234.  The password in this section is the password you check your @mylaurier.ca email with

 

When does the opt-out period end?

The opt-out period ends September 25th 2020. You can find more information about the Undergraduate Health and Dental Plan at studentvip.ca. If you have any questions regarding the plan please email undergraduatehdp@wlu.ca.
