How long do I have to submit a health and dental claim?
As a student on the Undergraduate Health and Dental plan you have 12 months from the date you incur an expense to make a claim. The only time this changes is when you graduate from your studies or are no longer an active undergraduate student. In this case, you have 90 days to tidy anything up from the policy year.

Do I need to pay my rent during the covid-19 pandemic?
From the Ontario Government: “Tenants who can pay their rent must do so, to the best of their abilities. Landlords are entitled to collect compensation from a tenant for each day that an eviction order is not enforced. However, tenants who are asked to self-isolate or who can’t work may have difficulty paying their rent. Tenants who are having challenges paying rent should speak with their landlords about possibly deferring their rent or other payment arrangements. From Athletics and Recreation: “Please note that the Athletic Complex & University Stadium will not be opened immediately as part of Stage 3. We continue to review the conditions of a Stage 3 opening to determine the viability and timeline of reopening our facilities. The health and safety of all our members continues to be top priority. Wilfrid Laurier University remains eager to welcome the community back to our Athletics and Recreation space as soon as it is practicable to do so, and in alignment with public health and University guidelines”.
