Are you a Green Renegade?

Found roaming along rough terrains and harsh lands, Renegades are outlaws against authority. Known for fighting for what they believe in, the Renegades can be spotted waiting to preserve justice and avenge those they are most loyal to. Renegades stand tall on their saddles, ready to face danger. First preferring to be a lone ranger, you will see more Renegades aligning against their opposition. Not needing recognition for their good deeds, the mysterious wanderers move silently among us.

Wearing layers to protect against the unforgiving desert conditions and to hide their identities, Renegades prefer anonymity amongst tumbleweeds, cacti and towering boulders. Are you ready to ride into #LAURIEROWEEK17 as a Green Renegade?

WHY AM I A GREEN RENEGADE?

All first year students, on both campuses, and those living on and off campus, are placed on one of four colour teams. Each team is represented by a colour and a character – we encourage you to embrace it! As part of Orientation Week, you’ll participate in team activities and challenges; it also helps to identify your student volunteer leaders, also known as “Icebreakers.” Whenever you have a question or are heading somewhere, make sure to check in with your Icebreakers.

HOW WILL I KNOW IF I’M A GREEN RENEGADE?

Check out here if you’re on the Waterloo campus and here if you’re on the Brantford campus to see which residence floors are assigned to be a Green Renegade. This will help you when identifying your Icebreakers and fellow team members. This information will also be provided when you come to pick up your O-Week kits on Move-In Day.
